The Caboche suspension lamp was designed by Patricia Urquiola in 2005. It has a very original design with its transparent balls shade which brings a purity and voluptuousness effect. The light emitted is open upwards and diffuse downwards.

About Patricia Urquiola:
Patricia Urquiola was born in Oviedo (Spain) in 1961, and now lives in Milan. She studied Architecture at the University of Madrid and then at the Milan Polytechnic School. She received her degree in 1989 and became Assistant lecturer to both Achille Castiglioni (her thesis director) as well as Eugenio Bettinelli, and also gave courses at the ENSCI of Paris. From 1996 to 2000, she headed the design group of the Lissoni Associati study and worked for Alessi Antares-Flos, Artelano, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina and Kartell there. She was a lecturer, she also conducted seminars and continued her activity as independent designer (for B & B, Bosa, De Vecchi, Fasem, Liv’it, MDF, Molteni & C., Moroso and Tronconi) . She created her own study in Milan in 2011 where she has participated in design, decoration and architecture projects.
